I met Francesca and Ivan when I had the pleasure of traveling to the Bahamas with Ivan’s family to photograph his sister’s wedding. It was a gorgeous wedding, and such a wonderful time to get to meet everyone. Later the following year, I’d be photographing the family again, this time for Ivan and Fran in Islamorada, Florida! Their beautiful deep hues of blue and gold accentuated the sea perfectly. They each spent some time with the gorgeous little girl as they got ready, and then danced the night away under the stars. The incredible wind that day forced the wedding under the same tent but it was glorious as the sun shone on them and their guests as they became husband and wife. A Junkanoo band joined the party during the last hour and had everyone on their feet until the wee hours of the morning. This family loves love and they love a good party! It was such a joy to be with them again and capture another union of families.

Dolce Photography is an award-winning, boutique wedding photography company located in the heart of Miami, Florida.

After running the show alone since 2010, I’m looking for some wonderful, enthusiastic, and downright awesome people to join my team. I began this dream with only my camera in hand and zero knowledge of how to use it or start the company I dreamed of one day having. I believed from the very beginning that what wedding photography needed was something with a blend of modern and beautiful, while still retaining a sense of traditionalism. I wanted wedding photography to feel loved, to look dreamy while still crisp and colorful, and to be done with heart and passion. My style evolved into a beautiful mixture of editorial romance with just the right about of candid elements. I tell each of my clients that they should look and feel magazine worthy on their wedding day. It’s the day of their dreams, the day they become one. Everything matters.  It’s my goal to give my clients images that reflect a gorgeous print worthy quality, and see their wedding day in a way they never knew possible, worthy of being admired and enjoyed for generations.

I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph more than 300 weddings and countless engagement, maternity, family, and boudoir sessions around the nation. Dolce Photography sessions and weddings are published constantly throughout the year in both national blogs and magazines. I’ve garnered The Knot.com’s “Best of” award 2012-2016 and have been inducted into The Knot.com’s Hall of Fame, placing Dolce within the top 5% of photographers state wide, and I insist that my solid 5 star reviews are what it’s all about, making sure each and every wedding client has the “Dolce Experience”, an unprecedented vendor relationship not only for their wedding but forever after.

I know now that it’s time this company grows some branches, not only outwards but UPWARDS. If this is something you feel you’d love to be a part of, I’d love to hear from you. I’m looking for those ready to work hard, photography (and owning a busy photography company) is not an easy job but I promise it’s both rewarding and a whole lot of fun. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a strong desire to produce quality work, must be friendly and have a positive attitude, have reliable transportation, computer knowledge (Mac preferred), camera knowledge (Canon strongly preferred), a passion for photography, and a willingness to learn.

All positions have an unpaid internship period before they become paid positions. As part of the team, you will however be receiving wisdom, advice, and experience (lots of it too: the good, the bad, the perplexing, joyous, fast paced, and often emotional world of wedding photography).

ON TO THE GOOD STUFF: Dolce Photography is excited to be offering the following 2016-2017 internship positions, beginning Summer 2016.

———————————————————————————————————————–

Assistant Wedding Photographer  (position in Miami and surrounding areas ranging from Palm Beach to the FL Keys. Nearly every weekend of the year, 1-2x per weekend. Schedule will be given months in advance.)

I’m seeking more stability when it comes to my secondary photographers on wedding days. I find myself oftentimes looking for someone reliable very last minute and I’m looking for consistency. It’s important for me to have my clients receive images they expect to receive and nothing less. Using multiple different people, in my humble personal opinion, leads to inconsistency. I know every weekend might be too much to ask of one person at the beginning, but I’m interested in finding someone who is willing to learn everything I know about shooting a wedding and pair that with their love of photography to assist me permanently. To start, I estimate at least 2x a month. This position will increase once enough experience is gained. You must be reliable, friendly, and willing to learn and most importantly, must be able to commit to wedding dates.

  • Learn about and assist in photographing alongside Rosie on a wedding day
  • Photographing a wedding day to include but not limited to: manual photography settings, controlling natural and flash lighting and composition.
  • Be a representation of the Dolce brand, learn the attention to detail, professionalism, polished personal appearance, positive attitude and appreciation for everyone you encounter…aka “The Dolce Experience”
  • Timeline and logistics of the wedding day

Session & Wedding Assistant (position in Miami and surrounding areas ranging from Palm Beach to FL Keys. Nearly every weekend of the year, 1-2x per weekend in addition to once during the week for scheduled sessions. Schedule will be given.)

I’m looking for someone to generally assist me during sessions. I may have 1 or 2 sessions a week an hour before sunset, and almost always have a wedding each weekend of the year (8-10 hour days) with a few weekends off here and there. I’m in need of someone who is reliable, friendly, and willing to learn. You must be able to commit to session & wedding dates.
